Ruth Lake is nestled in a high mountain valley in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest of Utah. My wife and I hiked the 2 mile scenic trail past a number of smaller bodies of water and over small mountain streams to get to this beautiful location. This image was captured in late September from the southwest shore of Ruth Lake looking towards Hayden Peak.
